Treatments We Provide To Help You Heal

  • Our Goal is to work together with you to identify the root cause(s) of your pain and symptoms. Once these are identified then treatment techniques will help remove these barriers to healing so your body can do what it wants to do: HEAL

  • Joint Mechanic Issues often are the root cause of much muscular and fascial pain. Using techniques from the Osteopathic tradition Dave will help you restore normal joint movement to remove these barriers to healing. He also uses a variety of soft-tissue mobilization techniques to help remove soft-tissue barriers to healing.

  • Neuroplasticity simply means the brains ability to change. As humans, we often will have non-useful pathways in our brain in response to injury, pain, or disease. Dave and Debbie can teach you techniques to help you change your brain maps to help you heal yourself.

  • Dry Needling is a powerful technique utilizing small-diameter monofilament needles placed in trigger points of muscle and fascia, tendons, ligaments and near nerves. This technique can markedly reduce soft-tissue pain generators. Ultrasound Guidance is used to precisely place needles in tendons and ligaments to aid healing.

  • Debbie can help your healing journey from a neurological injury or with disease. She utilizes neuro-specific techniques to help patients improve function after a stroke, brain injury, spinal-cord injury or as they live with diseases such as MS or Parkinson’s Disease.

  • While aquatic therapy can be very beneficial for any patient, it is particularly useful for neurological clients. The reduction of the force of gravity and the warm water create a powerful and unique healing environment. In the water, a person often can voluntarily move and function in ways they cannot on land which clients report is encouraging and empowering.

  • Dave utilizes cupping to help reduce tightness in muscles and fascia through decompressing these tissues instead of the compression found in other soft-tissue mobilization techniques. The cupping also helps remodel fascial restrictions and can help joint mobility and also is used to reduce lymphedema.

  • We can help heal after surgery. Dave believes manual therapy techniques are extremely important to help you heal well and optimize function. Much of the focus of our post-surgical work together will be these techniques in addition to exercises. Once incisions are fully healed, then the aquatic environment is superb to help you heal after surgery.

  • Debbie utilizes the Galileo platform, a side-alternating whole-body mechanostimulation device. This device efficiently assists with improving functional mobility, strength and balance.

  • If you are currently unable to travel to outpatient physical therapy or simply prefer the convenience of treatment in your home, we can provide in-home physical therapy. Rates vary depending upon your location.

Our Goal is to help You Heal You so you can Thrive

  • Two medical professionals I had seen for a back injury referred me to Dave. I was in a lot of pain due to falling on ice. Prior to seeing Dave, I was planning on leaving my profession as a photographer since carrying camera equipment started to feel impossible. During my first appointment I just cried. Dave let me know I was in a safe place and gave me confidence that I could heal. Two years later, I’m in the best shape of my life and getting stronger. Dave gave me important parts of my life and future back. He is patient, honest, thorough and intuitive. I spend much of my time now on the east coast but still fly back and have appointments with Dave. I was told I had to undergo surgery that would require a year of recovery. Dave’s knowledge and patience with me permitted me to take this less invasive and successful healing journey.

  • I’ve had many physical therapists since I was paralyzed in an ATV accident in 2000. Debbie is far and away the best I have worked with. One of my favorite things about Debbie is her insatiable curiosity. This curiosity makes her passionate about learning new things in her field and also makes her impossible to intimidate with challenging patients like me. We’ve been working together for years now and the fountain of her knowledge seems to never end. Debbie has a talent for breaking down big goals into simple pieces so that little changes can add up to big changes. Debbie is skilled at communicating what she wants me to do and why. She finds different ways to describe techniques until we find one that resonates with me. Debbie is compassionate, dedicated, and brilliant at her job. Do yourself a favor and work with her.
